Monday, July 31st, 2006
Ajithkumar

Ultimate Star Ajith has not had a very good time over the past 2 to 3 years. His movies have constantly run into trouble and crashed at the box office. Much talked Naan Kadavul too ended up in problems resulting in Ajith bowing out of the movie.

Now he has taken up Aalwar with debutant director Chella, who has worked an assistant to S J Suryah. Ajith who had shed a lot of weight and grown his hair to fit in for Naan Kadavul has reportedly snipped his hair and is putting on weight for Aalwar. He is also working out for nearly 4 hours a day to step up his fitness levels.
He is reportedly trying to get back his Vaali look, which to date remains his most popular character.

Amongst all this activity Ajith is also said to be keenly following his horoscope and the interplay of the stars that seem to have given him the rough times. But, the stars can change any time and Ajith seems very much on track to make a resounding comeback.

Ajith & Asin

It has been a disturbing trend in the industry off late that many movies which have almost completed shooting and post production works are lying in the cans unable to see the light of day due to financial problems of a few lakhs.

The industry has noticed this and a new council has been set up to look into this issue and sort it out. The council has reportedly expressed regret at the fact that movies that are worth crores are lying locked up due to a shortage of few lakhs.
So the council has decided that it is time to step in and give a chance for the films to be released. The help from the council set up may come in the financial form or otherwise.

Ajith

The first of the films to benefit from this is likely to be Ajith Kumar’s ‘Godfather’. It has kept all Ajith fans guessing for quite some time now and it seems that the wait is finally coming to an end.

It is going to a much-needed release for Ajith who is suffering from the worst patch ever in his career, also director K.S.Ravikumar is in search of a hit for himself.

Ajith to play ward boy in Aalwar

Tuesday, July 25th, 2006

Remember, we told you that Ajith is kicking off with his Aalwar on August 1 in Hyderabad.

Ajith kumar

Not wanting to create any huge expectations and hype about the movie, Ajith has requested the producer of the movie Mohan Natarajan and director Chella to maintain a low profile about the movie. No expensive promos or launch are planned.

Well, seems it has dawned on Ajith that there is no link between a film’s expensive launch and promo with pompous invitations and box-office success of the film. He even advised the producer that expensive promos would add to the financial burden of the producer and asked them to avoid.
Ajith has promised the producers uninterrupted dates making sure that the film hit the screens by Pongal next year.

Thirupathi: Celebration time

Friday, July 21st, 2006

Ultimate star Ajith’s Thirupathi has completed a spectacular run of 100 days. In this movie Ajith has handled his stunt and dance sequences very well. Succeeding Paramasivan, he has treated us with a very good action packed wholesome entertainer. Sadha plays a small part, but has done full justice to her role.

Some of the commendable performances include that of Arun Pandian (who plays the role of a cop), Riaz Khan and Pyramid Natarajan. Comedy has been hilariously handled by the budding Kanja Karuppu and the veteran M.S. Bhaskar. Bharadwaj’s Music gels well with the script and one of the highlights is the special appearance of Laila in one of the songs. Thalapathi Dinesh’s stunts are a treat to watch and so is the cinematography by Saravanan. Hats off to the cast and crew of this movie!!!
