Bala has temporarily shelved Naan Kadavul with Ajith in the lead. But, he will produce a new film again with Ajith. P.Vasu who is basking in the success of Chandramukhi will be the director for this mega budget film. The heroine will be Bala’s favorite Laila. She had previously paired with Ajith in Dina. She has been committed for an undisclosed sum which is hugely beyond her normal rates.

There is a huge sympathy wave sweeping in favour of Ajit. Everyone in the industry and trade wants him to stage a comeback as they feel that his films still have the potential to become hits. Added to that, producers and the trade want an alternative to Vijay and Vikram domination. Irrespective of the fate of Godfather at the box-office Ajit has plenty of offers coming his way. The going is so good that top producers like AVM are willing to pay him his old salary (Rs 2.5 Crore) and is not bothered about his past flops!

Ajit is also rumoured to be a thorough professional as he agreed for Perarasu, a Vijay favourite to direct his new film titled Tirupati for AVM.

Ajit will start Tirupati in September as it is due for release on April 14, 2006. Among the distributors Tirupati is turning out to be hot as all areas have been sold out!

Our Ultimate Star who has been introduced in Cine Industry the first time in a Telugu movies Prema Pushtakam ( The Book of Love ) in 1992. The film was an average grosser but the most important is that Ajit Kumar ji has received the best new male face actor award , a great achievement. Then he get chance to act in tamil film Amaravathy, a hit movie. Now Ajit is full concentrate in Cinema, Tamil Cinema only so unfortunately Telugu fans couldn’t see Our Ji acting in a telugu film this time. But we Hope that one day we will do it.

The much awaited film of Ajith with KS RaviKumar wielding the megaphone is going on full swing. It is holding in its third schedule. The main fact is that the shooting will go till September 27^th.

Now, the Chennai shooting schedule is over and the next will take place in Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Kaanchipuram. It will start on this 5^th September and so will complete on 27^th September : It is the FINAL shooting schedule. Then music director A.R.Rahman will start the background music work. Also the audio album of this film would be released in the last week of September.

Producer S.S Chakravarthy ( NIC ARTS ) is keen on getting theatres for a diwali release ( 1^st November 2005 ).  You remember that Ajit has met many troubles around this film and also he has been compelled to give money to help the producer who is not financially well settled. Now, Ajit is considered as a co-producer for Godfather.

Ajith Kumar is pinning his hopes high on this film, as it may make a swift change in his career and based on the B.O collection of this film, he would get his forthcoming projects.
