AVM’s grand set for ‘Aegan’

April 25th, 2008 by ajithfans

This
has been one film that has been constantly under the focus light. It
has made headlines very frequently. ‘Aegan’ has Ajith and Nayantara in
the main roles.

Reports indicate that AVM had erected a huge set for
this film resembling a durbar. But the sets had been taken off because
the team had to relocate to Vizag for shooting some important scenes,
following the Hogenakkal issue.

The AVM studio has now put the grand set back in place and the shooting will continue as planned earlier.

From the posters of this film doing the rounds Ajith
has been portrayed in two very different and great-looking makeovers,
one sporting a beard and the other with just stubble. The entire team
has been tight-lipped about the plot of the film. By what it seems
‘Aegan’ looks like one interesting film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja who is busy with composing the music for this film is already through with two songs.

Aegan

Ajith’s next venture, Aegan, starring Nayanthara and directed by Raju Sundaram is in the news again. A large set AVM had constructed for the film had been dismantled earlier because the team had to relocate to Vizag to shoot some key scenes. Now that the shoot is over, the set has been erected again. By the looks of it, it resembles the durbar hall of a king. Yuvan Shankar Raja has already finished composing two songs for Aegan.

Ajith steps into the shoes of SRK?

February 8th, 2008 by ajithfans

After the successful experiment of remaking ‘Billa’,
Ajith is all set for another remake. His forthcoming movie directed by
Raju Sundaram is said to be the remake of Farah Khan’s ‘Main Hoon Na’,
which had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

The producers, Ayngaran International, are believed
to have bought the remake rights from SRK’s Red Chillies, the producers
of the original. ‘Main Hoon Na’, which has SRK and Sushmita Sen as the
lead pair, is a typical Bollywood masala. The movie was a run away hit.

If the grapevine proves to be true, the storyline of
Ajith’s yet to be titled movie will be like this: Ajith plays an
undercover cop who goes back to the college to protect a top nuclear
scientist’s daughter, who is on the kidnapping list of a terrorist
organization. Ajith enters the college to finish his mission, and in
the process, he wins over the students and the sexy chemistry teacher.

Katrina Kaif, the sensational beauty of Bollywood is tipped to play the sexy teacher’s role.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will handle the music. The title and the choice of heroine will be finalized soon.
